"Dance With Me (Single)"

It's been a while right?!
Sorry for being away for so long - i'm happy to be back and even happier to have this track as my official "welcome back" theme song. Huge thanks to Octavio Santos and J Vibes for bringing their vibes to the table and making this one my favourite tracks i've created to date.

"Kind Eyes & Carolina"

Eric's Debut EP, Kind Eyes & Carolina is a purely homemade endeavor. While living on his friends couch, Eric made this piece of honest, heart felt, art. Take a listen or two, or three to these raw, heart felt songs.

When in doubt, bring the whole crew along. Redefinition is: Mecca:83, Buscrates 16-bit Ensemble and DistantStarr. We've been collectively connected for close to 5 years, so creating this record was a long overdue happening!

Enjoy six tracks of Fender Rhodes, Live Horns and low-swung beats courtesy of the crew & grab yourself a copy on vinyl from my Bandcamp page or via your favourite record store.

"Open" feat Kan Sano, Emanative & Aisha Mars

Back in early 2012 I started working on a project tentatively titled "Open". The idea was to get a bunch of artists I respected on the same track & create some good vibes. Unfortunately the project was lost in the great hard drive crash of Winter '12 and I presumed all the music had been lost....until this little gem appeared on a CDr a few months back.

Enjoy the only surviving track from the Open project, featuring Kan Sano on Rhodes, Emanative on drums and Aisha Mars on Flute.

About

Humble, diligent and dedicated to exploring the sound inside his mind: Mecca has crafted a signature sound, rooted in low swung beats and soulful melodies.

He first hit the scene in the mid-00’s, producing tracks on albums by the likes of Deborah Jordan and Replife on the London based Futuristica Music imprint. This association quickly turned into a friendship, with Mecca joining the roster soon after and releasing his first solo record – the Messages 7” release – via the label in mid 2009.
